YARRAM GOLF CLUB

Yarram’s golf course is rated as the best volunteer run course in Australia.

Yarram Golf Club is a challenging 18-hole course featuring top class greens. Clubhouse fully licensed and visitors always made most welcome. A small colony of kangaroos occupy the course and graze contently while golf is played around them. It is not unusual to see four or five kangaroos browsing quietly on a fair-way. The kangaroos are a great attraction to visitors. Koalas, and occasionally wallabies and emus, are also seen about the links.

Yarram Golf club also sports its very own Heesco mural. Golfing legend Gary Player adorns the outside of the clubhouse, having visited Yarram in 1956.

Grass greens, well bunkered, carved from natural forest. Greens, tees and most fairways watered. Sand belt of rolling hills provides dry playing conditions year round. Set in classified wildlife area. Par for the course is 72.
